Transfer to Sagicor Clients

This screen allows you to transfer funds to other customers within the bank.

How do I process my payment?

• From Account: Click Edit to change the from account.
• Beneficiary Details: You can either select a saved beneficiary and account number entered on the Maintain Beneficiary List or enter the beneficiary name and account number.

  This screen is for you to save the details of your beneficiaries. You will then be able to make quick transfers from the details you have saved.

  How to enter a New Beneficiary/Edit/Delete

  • From the list of your beneficiaries you can click edit to amend the details, or click delete to delete the beneficiary.
  • Click Add New Beneficiary.
  • Enter the Beneficiary Name and Contact Details.
  • Click Save.

  How to Add an Account for a Payee

  • Click the Plus Sign to add a new account.
  • Enter an Account Nickname.
  • Enter the Account or IBAN number.
  • The Active check box is checked by default. If you do not wish the account to appear in the list when you make a payment un-check the box.
  • BIC: Click to search for the bank.
  • Bank Type: Before you can use the search, you must select the bank type. Same Bank, Other Banks or International Banks.
    • In the search criteria you must enter the first three characters/digits.
    • Click Search your selected criteria will be retrieved by the system.
    • From the list retrieved, click Select on the bank your require. The details will be automatically entered on the account.
  • Click Save to save your changes.
  • To delete an account click the delete Icon and then click Save.

• Transfer Amount: Enter the amount to be debited, and select the currency.
• Transfer Date: Select the transfer date.
• Description: You can enter a description.
• To delete all the transfer details without submitting the transaction you have entered click the Clear button.

Submit the Transfer

• When you have completed the details click Submit.
• You will now move to a confirmation page where you can review the details. You might be asked to input an TAN

  Some processes in the Internet Banking system require the input of an TAN (transaction authorisation number) for security reasons. For example a TAN might be required when you make a transfer between your own accounts.

  How to Use an SMS TAN

  • click Send me a TAN.
  • an SMS will be sent to your mobile phone.
  • input the PIN number in the field SMS TAN.
  • when you click Save the system will validate the number. TAN numbers can only be used once.

  How to Use the Token Device

  • You must enter a new TAN for each transaction you make. TAN numbers can only be used once.
  • Click the button on the Token Device and a number will be generated on the Device screen.
  • Enter the TAN number, click Submit and then Confirm.

• Click Confirm. The system will check you are authorised to complete the process.
• Upon successful submission a message will be displayed on your screen. What does the Transaction Status Mean?

  The Transaction Created message has two different meanings depending on the system status (shown in the message area of all pages).

  When the system status reads Online

  • The Online Banking System is able to process payments in an online/real-time environment.
  • A payment processed while Online is posted immediately in the involved Bank account and it is reflected in both account balances and the account statement.

  When the system status reads Transit or Offline

  • Your payment is marked as Pending. The Internet Banking System can only mark your payment as an instruction for the next Online period.
  • The payment is processed in the next available working-hours (next available Online). The successful posting of the pending payments is always subject to the available balances of the involved accounts.
  • It is strongly recommended to always check the posting result of the Offline payments using the Online Transaction Status screen.

• You can print or save the e-receipt for the completed transaction by using the icons. The transaction number is from the internet banking system.
• You can save a Template.

  This screen displays all the templates you have saved in the system.

  • Click Load to load a template.
  • Click to delete a template.

  After the confirmation of a payment you have the option to enter a template name and save the details for future use. Payments with the template option are listed below:

  • Transfer Between My Own Accounts
  • Transfer to Other Sagicor Clients
  • Transfer to Other Local Banks
  • International Payments
  • Bill Payments
