What is a TAN?
Some processes in the Internet Banking system require the input of an TAN (transaction authorisation number) for security reasons. For example a TAN might be required when you make a transfer between your own accounts.
How to Use an SMS TAN
- click Send me a TAN.
- an SMS will be sent to your mobile phone.
- input the PIN number in the field SMS TAN.
- when you click Save the system will validate the number. TAN numbers can only be used once.
How to Use the Token Device
- You must enter a new TAN for each transaction you make. TAN numbers can only be used once.
- Click the button on the Token Device and a number will be generated on the Device screen.
- Enter the TAN number, click Submit and then Confirm.
