Assign Categories to Transactions
This screen provides a history of all your completed transactions, you can assign categories to these transactions.
Process Options
Searching
- Select the Account you wish to view from the drop down list.
- Quick Search: Click, Last 10, 20 or 30 transactions.
- Using the Filter By Option select the transactions you are interested in:
- You can select by the Transaction Type, Transaction Category and Period.
- To select by a date range you must first select the User Defined option and then enter the Date From and Date To.
- Once you have made your selection click View, your selected criteria will be retrieved by the system.
- Click Clear to remove the filter options.
Assign Categories
- Check the Select check box of the transaction you wish to assign.
- Select the Category. Note: Select the category Unassign, to remove the category.
- Click Save.
Create New Category
- Click Create New Category. You will be re-directed to the Transaction Categories screen.
- Click Create New to create a new category.
- Category Name/Description: Enter a name.
- Chart Display Colour: Select the colour from the list.
- Click Save.
